One site has revolutionized our online viewing and video sharing habits. Where else can we catch the latest music videos, movie trailers, TV shows and millions of instructional videos about everything from cat massage to becoming a ventriloquist?

Since its release, YouTube has become the reliable go-to site for millions of people around the world, but there is one thing that many users and viewers had been wishing could improve when it comes to full screen video watching.

Good news, Google is releasing new features in YouTube 10.28.59 that will allow vertical videos to be displayed properly on Android devices. Previously, users and viewers had to endure watching a vertical video by displaying it up and down in a landscape mode when in full screen. The downside of this was it did not make much of a difference from the non-full screen view and can even be more inconvenient when watching a clip.

With version 10.28.59, users can now watch a vertical video in its true full-screen glory with the video appearing in a vertical orientation on the device.

Version 10.28.59 also offers some modifications to the app's offline playback feature that will allow users to download and later on watch low-quality videos on their device without it using up precious memory space.

Users can also soon expect to use more words and phrases when using the voice command for video playback. Users will be able to choose from varying phrases and commands, speak them out, then sit back and enjoy watching the video.

The latest update is also doing away with Normal and HD as the common naming resolution for videos, and so far users have responded positively to the change as it seems it is easier to understand. Users have also given it bonus points for being visually pleasing.
