Nintendo Announces Super Mario Maker Wii U Premium Pack And 8-Bit Mario Amiibo For Sept. 11 Release

An iconic game is celebrating three decades in the gaming industry and to commemorate the momentous event, its creator is releasing awesome collectibles for diehard fans.

Nintendo Europe is marking the 30th anniversary of Super Mario with the release of Super Mario Maker. The exciting part is that it comes in three different versions along with a cool Amiibo to add to your collection.

The company is starting off the anniversary collectibles with the release of the new Super Mario Maker Wii U Premium Pack. This edition comes with a black Wii U Premium game console, a physical copy of Super Mario Maker, a hardcover art book of the game and a classic color 8-bit Mario amiibo from the Mario 30th Anniversary Collection.

The Limited Edition on the other hand, comes with a copy of the game, a hardcover art book and a classic color Mario 8-bit Amiibo while the Standard Edition pack comes with a copy of the game and the hardcover art book only.

These super packs will be available on Sept. 11 for Europe and North America.

For Super Mario fans that are only interested in the Amiibo 30th Anniversary Collectible, Nintendo has reportedly stated that the Classic Color Amiibo (brown and red) will be available for standalone purchase on Sept. 11, while a Modern Color Mario Amiibo (blue and red) will be released on Oct. 23

Super Mario Maker was officially revealed as Mario Maker at last year's E3. Mario Maker allows players to tweak their favorite Mario games, such Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. U. Players are encouraged to put their own twist on different game levels and unleash their creativity for a more personalized gaming experience.
