As announced on Aug. 17, Fantastic Beasts shall be found at the Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden, England, where filming has begun on the new film set in the magical world of Harry Potter.

Fantasic Beasts and Where To Find Them is a prequel of sorts to the Harry Potter novels and movies as it follows the adventures of magizooligist Newt Scamander, played by Academy-Award winning actor Eddie Redmayne.

The U.K. studio is the same one where the first eight Harry Potter movies were filmed and the screenplay will be the first penned by J.K. Rowling herself.

Taking place 70 years before Harry was even born, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is also the title of a textbook the young wizards were required to read at Hogwarts. The book's author, Scamander, travels all over the world to find and document magical creatures.

Even Rowling could not contain her excitement as the wizarding world she created being brough back to life once again, as she tweeted on Monday.

Also the be expected on the set of Fantastic Beasts are Katherine Waterston as Scamander's wife, Tina Goldstein, and Alison Sudol as her sister, Queenie. Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jenn Murray, Faith Wood-Blagrove are also part of the cast.

Most recently, actor Collin Farrell was also announed to be the latest addition to the movie. According to reports, he will be portraying a wizard named Graves who "crosses paths" with Scamander on his adventures.

David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter movies will also sit in the director's chair for Fantastic Beasts. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on Nov. 18, 2016.
