Marshawn Lynch is an extreme guy.

The bruising Seattle Seahawks running back will repeatedly serve up one-word offerings to reporters crowded around his locker during pre- and postgame interviews. But he'll talk to a couple of regular Joes while playing Call of Duty: Black Ops III for nearly three hours.

That's exactly what Beast Mode did with the fellas from Typical Gamer, holding court with them and people playing online in a highly entertaining video that hit the Internet on Sunday, August 23. Highlights of the video include Lynch shouting out tag names of gamers, telling Activision that people aren't going to buy the game unless he's made a second classified specialist character and waving off the orbital — despite it being used to caution where enemies are and what direction they're facing.

As Lynch talks and plays the video game with Typical Gamer and online gamers alike, it's glaringly clear how much he genuinely loves Call of Duty — he's just as eager to gain tips and know-how as he is to share what he's learned himself. Skipping around this two-hour and 49-minute video drives those points home.

Don't forget, Lynch is a character in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which is slated for a November 6 release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. A June ESPN The Magazine feature story documented the process of Beast Mode becoming the first athlete to ever appear in the popular video game series.

It's hard to tell if he has more fun playing this video game or hitting tacklers before they hit him on the football field. On second thought, Lynch might give the slight edge to Call of Duty. Now, about that second classified specialist request, Activision...
