As one of Sony's biggest exclusives, it only hurt that much more when Naughty Dog announced that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End would be delayed from its 2015 release date into 2016. What's even worse is that Naughty Dog never gave an actual release date: "Spring 2016" was the most specific thing fans ever got.

Until now, that is: after months of waiting and speculation, Naughty Dog has finally announced when gamers can expect to get their hands on Uncharted 4. While it'll be hard to wait until 2016, fans at least know how much longer the wait will actually be: Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set for release on March 18, 2016.

Of course, it's not enough to just announce a game's release date anymore: Sony detailed the numerous different editions of Uncharted 4. For collectors, it's great news — especially considering that there are four separate versions of the game, both physical and digital.

The first of the collector's editions is simply called the "Special Edition." Along with the game, players will get a steelbook case, a 48-page artbook, a code for in-game currency and a pack of stickers. Uncharted 4: Special Edition will retail at $80 USD.

The biggest of the collector's editions is the "Libertalia Collector's Edition." This massive set comes with everything in the Special Edition, plus additional multiplayer outfits, weapon skins and a 12-inch Drake statuette. It's not exactly cheap, either: the Libertalia Collector's Edition will retail at $120 USD.

Finally, the Digital Deluxe Edition comes with the game, instant equipment unlocks in multiplayer and early access to Uncharted 4's post-release content (including the series' first-ever story-based DLC). It's the same price as the Special Edition, coming in at $80 USD.

And now begins the painful six-month wait for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. At the very least, impatient fans can get their hands on the remastered Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection this October.
