In Super Mario Maker, zapping your Amiibo figures into the game unlocks a plethora of special costumes that you can use — and they appear in the pixelated look of the first Super Mario Bros. game.

For the first time, we now know exactly which costumes appear in the game and what they look like.

YouTube user Pogoplay accomplished this by building a level that's made up entirely of mushrooms that change your costume, though we have no idea how he managed to unlock every single Amiibo including the ones that aren't available yet. So the video is simply Mario running through a series of custom levels for eight minutes, changing his costume every few seconds. (Strangely, moments after Pogoplay uploaded the video, he deleted it, but not before another user could grab it and re-upload it.)

The usual suspects are all here: Mario (in his many variations), Luigi, Bowser, Toad, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Yoshi, Link, Zelda, Samus, Pikachu, Kid Icarus, Pikmin, Wario, Wii Fit Trainer, Sonic, Pac-Man, Star Fox, Peach, and so on. You'll see some more obscure characters as well.

If you consider this sort of thing to be spoiler territory, you'll want to avoid the video and discover these costumes for yourself. Otherwise, Amiibo collectors in particular will probably want to take a look.

Super Mario Maker arrives on September 11, 2015 for Wii U.
