If Samsung’s new high-end Galaxy Tab S and its 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED was tempting you. You’ll be happy to know that the company is taking pre-orders for both models.

Samsung is following up on a statement it made last year, claiming that it would put greater focus on its Galaxy tablets in 2014. The company has kept its word and has released all different size and series tablets in 2014. We saw the Galaxy Tab Pro and Galaxy Note Pro get announced at CES in January, and then Samsung followed shortly after with the Galaxy Tab4 series.

If you thought Samsung was going to take a break, think again. The company has just introduced two new tablets in its quest to offer a tablet for everyone. The Galaxy Tab S series are now the company’s latest flagship tablet and are very impressive.

The tablets are sure to please consumer’s eyes, as they have extremely high-resolution and high-end 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED displays, which makes viewing a joy on either the 8.4-inch or 10.5-inch models.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is offered in both an 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch model and feature a 2560 x 1600 Super AMOLED display. They’re powered by either a 1.9GHz Samsung Exynos 5 quad-core processor or 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB of RAM, which will please gamers and and other processor intensive apps. The tablets will ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat and Samsung’s latest Magazine UX out of the box.

The Galaxy Tab S’ camera capabilities consist of an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash with the ability to capture 1080p HD video; its front-facing camera is a 2.1-megapixel shooter. The tablets will be offered in 16GB and 32GB of internal storage and you can expand that with a microSD card, which supports up to 128GB microSD cards. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 ships with a 4,900mAh battery and the 10.5-inch tablet is packing a 7,900mAh battery

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S’s dimensions are ultra thin; the 8.4-inch’s dimensions are 8.38 x 4.94 x 0.26 inches (212.8 x 125.6 x 6.6 mm) and is super light at 10.51 oz. The 10.5-inch’s measurements are 9.74 x 6.98 x 0.26 inches (247.3 x 177.3 x 6.6 mm) and is tipping the scale at 16.47 oz.

If those specs and gorgeous Super AMOLED display is what you want in a tablet, you’ll be happy to know Samsung is taking preorders for both tablets.
