Lara Croft is set for a globe-trotting new adventure that, if this gameplay trailer is any indication, is going to take her to some spectacular vistas. And she'll be climbing, leaping, and swinging her way through these exotic locales in order to raid some tombs.

Oh, and she'll find plenty of time to fight bad guys, too. Talk about multitasking.

In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara reveals herself to have been drastically affected by her experiences on Yamatai island. Early trailers hinted that it could be post-traumatic stress, but the truth appears to be much more straightforward. Put simply: Lara Croft has become an adrenaline junkie.

Entertainment Weekly first posted this latest trailer, dubbed "Descent Into Legend," which is jam-packed with action and exploration. Those cinematic, hair-raising moments of relentless intensity from 2013's Tomb Raider are still on display front and center, but you'll see a much more confident Lara this time, one who rushes straight into dangerous situations and seems to relish them. There's also considerably more tomb raiding, which fans felt was missing from the last game.

But what really catches one's eye in this trailer are the massive, breathtaking locations that Lara visits.

Rise of the Tomb Raider comes exclusively to Xbox One and Xbox 360 on November 10, 2015. PlayStation 4 and PC users will get access to the game sometime in 2016.
