The CW released the first clip from the season 4 premiere of Arrow that shows Thea Queen in action.

Played by actress Willa Holland, Queen aka Speedy, can be seen riding on the back of Black Canary's motorcycle as the two team up to stop a truck.

Speedy shoots an arrow that sends her flying to the open door, where she is able to enter the truck to take down the baddies on board. "This is so awesome," Speedy says while she is in action.

Black Canary warns the new Team Arrow member to look out behind her, but she is able to launch her weapon just in time.

"I thought I told you guys to call me Red Arrow," she says.

Thea Queen has been a main character on the series since its beginning, but it wasn't until last season that we learned of her interest to join the band of vigilantes after her brother, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), revealed that he is the Arrow in the episode "Canaries." Oliver then gives her the name Speedy after seeing her in Roy's costume.

The official synopsis for the first episode of season 4, titled "Green Arrow," is as follows:

"Oliver and Felicity's blissful getaway is cut short when Thea and Laurel pay them a visit and tell Oliver they need his help back in Star City. The city has been attacked by 'Ghosts,' assassins led by a dangerous man named Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). However, when Oliver returns, Diggle makes it very clear that he doesn't want Oliver on the team."

Season 4 of Arrow premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. EDT on the CW. Check out the Speedy clip below.
