Spectre marks the fourth time that Daniel Craig will be hitting the big screen as James Bond, and to say he's used to the role would be an understatement. That doesn't mean, however, that filling the shoes of the famous spy has been a walk in the park.

Talking to Time Out London, Craig said he's just praying that Spectre will be a great movie. He spent eight months shooting for the film, shuttling back and forth between London, Rome, Morocco, Mexico and the Austrian Alps to carry out the vision for Bond this time around. But while director Sam Mendes is head man on the film, Craig also pitched in his fair share of ideas.

Craig had described Skyfall as "Bond with bells on" and, given the film's massive success, it was "incredibly daunting" to film Spectre. He recounts being flustered over how to go about shooting a new Bond movie, but he eventually realized, as everyone else did, that they shouldn't be thinking about Skyfall. Instead, if they were going to film Spectre, their attention had better be on Spectre.

It takes some real dedication to portray Bond and Craig has done so successfully over the last 10 years. That said, if anyone made him do another movie this close to wrapping up Spectre, he said he'd rather slash his wrists.

"I'm over it at the moment. We're done. All I want to do is move on," he said.

Craig's not saying he's moving on from being Bond for good — he hasn't given the idea any thought. Maybe spend a year or two free from anything involving Bond? He isn't sure about that, either. Craig isn't in talks with anyone for another Bond movie but admits that doing the next one would simply be for the money.

If not him, then who should be Bond?

Craig said de doesn't care who comes next after him, but he does care that they push themselves to the limit and "don't be sh*t."

"We've left it in a good place ... Make it better, that's all."

Spectre is due to hit theaters on Nov. 6.
