Warning! This article features spoilers from episode 2 of Sleepy Hollow!

Now that Agent Abbie Mills and Ichabod Crane are back working together again, evil forces continue to shake Sleepy Hollow, thanks to the new baddie in town. On Thursday night's episode, we were introduced to a shadow demon unleashed by Pandora that pulled secrets out of its victims before killing them.

Season 3 of the hit horror series continues to pick up, this week giving us a more domesticated Crane (Tom Mison), who proves to be a good roommate by cleaning and attempting to cook for Mills. However, as he continues to find his place in the modern world, Mills (Nicole Behaire) now must also navigate between her professional and personal life when newcomer Agent Daniel Reynolds (Lance Gross) comes onto the scene.

We learn the two know each other from the academy, where their competitiveness helped push each other to reach their full potential. While Crane catches on that there is something brewing between the two, Reynolds later approaches our favorite lieutenant to reassure her that they will be able to work together despite their past romantic relationship now that he is her boss. Only in Sleepy Hollow can your boss get eaten by a demon, so we hope Reynolds stays around for a while to let things continue to heat up.

Last night's episode also gave fans more insight to Betsy Ross' (Nikki Reed) recurring role, revealing more about her role as an uncover agent. We learn that the shadow demon was also present during the 18th century, used to pull secrets out of the soldiers. That scene allowed us to see Crane beside his former flame.

So, it's safe to say that things are heating up in Sleepy Hollow, especially after looking to the promo for episode 3.

However, as Mills and Crane defeat one enemy, Pandora has another weapon to pull from her box. In the promo for next week's episode "Blood and Fear," Pandora unleashes an ancient knife that, when in the possession of a person, messes with their mind so that they then go on a murderous rampage.

Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) is having a bloody good time spreading evil throughout the town, and is seen partying the night away on the dance floor of a club. We also see a quick glimpse of an apparition from the past, so it's very likely this ancient knife is tied to some evil mastermind.

The official synopsis of "Blood and Fear" is as follows:

"Fear is rampant in Sleepy Hollow when Pandora releases an ancient artifact from her box that can transform an ordinary human into a terrifying figure from the past."

Watch the episode 3 promo in the clip below, and tune in to Sleepy Hollow on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox.
