A Motorola device codenamed Kinzie has been the talk of Moto fans for a couple of months, and it has now been matched to the Motorola Moto X Force, which will soon be known in the United States as the Droid Turbo 2. News about the upcoming Motorola device with the model number XT1585 has surfaced, and the Global Certification Forum has finally certified it.

While the device will be shipped as Droid Turbo 2 worldwide, it will be known as the Moto X Force in China only. Also, in the United States, the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will be exclusive to U.S. major carrier Verizon, supporting TD-LTE connectivity.

About the Droid Turbo 2's specs, it's reported that it will sport a 5.5-inch display made from "unbreakable" glass. The display will come with a 1440 x 2560 pixels Quad HD resolution. In terms of performance, Motorola crammed in Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and 3 GB of RAM. For the graphics department, Adreno 430 will drive the device, which is a powerful graphics-processing unit that can render demanding apps and games.

For photography enthusiasts, they will be glad to know that it is fitted with a whopping 20 MP rear-facing camera. On the other hand, video callers will be delighted to find a 5 MP front-facing camera. Regarding storage, the Droid Turbo 2 will be available in two variants: a 32 GB or a 64 GB model, but unfortunately, it won't support an expandable storage. It will, however, come with a long-lasting 3,760 mAH battery cell.

The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will sadly run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box instead of the latest Marshmallow OS.

According to rumors, Motorola will launch both the Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 handsets sometime this October. Also, based on a report by China's Mobile Dad, the device will be priced at 4,000 yuan, which is roughly $630.
