Like many of you reading this, I cannot go to a new restaurant without first checking the reviews on Yelp. However, many restaurant owners are probably feeling the pressure to make sure that their food, service, prices and ambiance is pleasing enough for them to get the ultimate passing grade — the five star review.

Who better to poke fun at Yelp reviewers than Cartman from South Park?

Previously, in the Season 19 episode of South Park titled "The City Part of Town," South Park has started to become more gentrified as many of the lower-income residents, like Kenny McCormick, were forced out.

In episode 4, "You're Not Yelping," which airs this week, we learn that a Mexican restaurant just opened, which is good news for the chubby character.

The official episode synopsis is as follows:

"There's a new kid in school and his parents have opened a restaurant in the recently gentrified part of town. Cartman now considers himself the top online restaurant reviewer in South Park."

Of course, Cartman perfectly embodies the role of a professional Yelp reviewer. In the promo for "You're Not Yelping," we see Cartman eating at this fine establishment, as the waiter comes with another plate of tacos. After telling the waiter he is a Yelp food reviewer, he says he's thinking about giving the restaurant five stars.

In true Cartman fashion, it appears his review is for his own selfish gain, teasing that he may just give it one star since free food would be the ultimate deciding factor.

"I mean as food, this is okay," he says with phone in hand and a bulge of belly popping out. "But as free food, it would be pretty amazing."

Those in the food industry know all too well how, sometimes, you can never satisfy a customer.
