It should be no secret by now that Google's Nexus 6P, deemed as one of the most renowned smartphones today, is built by Huawei. Newly leaked details indicate that Huawei Mate 8 may be a large and powerful smartphone and may arrive very soon.

In the previous months, quite a few rumors centering on this upcoming Huawei device surfaced and the phone's leaked photos also made the rounds over the Internet.

On Oct. 19, another report from China has once again showed up, saying it is slated to be released in either late November or early December and that it has already gone into mass production.

Price

This Huawei device will have a tag price of 3,299 Yuan, or around $519, for the 3 GB RAM variant. The 4 GB RAM model, in the meantime, will come with a price of 3,899 Yuan, or approximately $613.

Large Screen

The Huawei Mate 8 touts a vast screen of 6 inches with a resolution of 1,440p. Huawei Nexus 6P has a 5.7-inch screen.

Impressive Specifications

This new Huawei smartphone will reportedly sport an aluminum build. It houses a 21-megapixel shooter on the back. Meanwhile, at the front, it touts an 8-megapixel camera. This device will run an Android Lollipop pre-installed with Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI).

Perhaps one of the best selling points of the Huawei Mate 8 is its purported Force Touch technology, which is also believed to be present in one of the variants of Mate S (which is still not yet available).
While Apple calls it differently, Force Touch is also present in the Cupertino tech giant's iPhone 6S or 6S Plus and Apple Watch.

This new device from Huawei will also come with the company's custom Kirin 950 chipset.
Huawei collaborated with HiSilicon in building this mobile chipset, which is believed to integrate four ARM Cortex A-53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz as well as four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.4GHz.

The company has yet to announce the arrival of the new Huawei phone in the US. However, it is speculated that, based on the history, the Huawei Mate 8 will arrive in the U.S., either through Amazon or via the company's very own web store.
