Companies are entering the auto business left, right and center.

Google and Apple have both entered the business with their in-car infotainment systems. Apple might even be releasing a car of its own. Now, even Domino's is looking at the importance of cars.

More specifically, the company is working with automakers on developing custom pizza delivery cars. The first to be released is a modified Chevrolet Spark, and the cars are being dubbed the "DXP," or the Domino's Delivery Expert. According to Domino's, this is the first car built specifically for pizza delivery.

A total of three years has gone into developing the new car, and 100 units are set to be made for 25 cities around the U.S. The project started as a crowdfunded challenge called the "Domino's Ultimate Delivery Vehicle Challenge," resulting in 385 entries and the creation of a concept.

So, what makes this car so different? Well, the car does away with the back seats in favor of a warming oven located behind the driver's door. There is also a storage area for pizzas. Two Heatwave pizza bags can fit inside the warming oven, and it can be opened by the driver using the key fob.

In total, the car can hold a massive 80 pizzas at a time as well as other products, like wings and drinks. In case you saw the car and didn't think it was a made by Domino's, you could also look in front of it to see a projection of the Domino's logo. Of course, it would be a little hard to mistake the car as a non-Domino's car featuring other graphics and logos, like the lit-up one found on its roof.

Over the next three months, you will start seeing these cars pop up in Seattle, Houston, San Diego, Boston, Detroit and a number of other major cities in the U.S.
