Gamers can now check out the E3 2018 floor plan to find out which video game companies have the biggest spaces, and likely also the most significant shows, in the annual event.

E3 2018 will run from June 12 to June 14, and it will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. The annual video game event usually contains major announcements and updates, and this year will not be an exception.

Piecing Together The E3 2018 Floor Plan

There have been several E3 2018 rumors and leaks, but the floor plan for the annual video game event is not one of them. This is because the images were acquired through legal means by a ResetEra forum member who goes by the name Rosti.

Rosti explained that ESA/GES, the event planning and marketing partner, made the E3 2018 floor plan available to the public. The maps, however, did not show which space belonged to which company, so Rosti had to cross reference the floor plan with a separate list of booths to fill them out.

The ResetEra forum user was able to piece together the E3 2018 floor plan, revealing the companies with the biggest presence at the event.

What Does The E3 2018 Floor Plan Tell Us?

Just like in previous years, E3 2018 will occupy the West Hall and South Hall of the massive Los Angeles Convention Center. The Concourse Hall, which connects the West Hall and South Hall, will also house some booths, but the meeting rooms will mainly serve as locations for press and distributor talks.

Out of all the companies at E3 2018, the two that will occupy the biggest floor space are Nintendo and Sony, both at the West Hall. Nintendo previously announced that it will put the spotlight at E3 2018 on Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch, while for Sony, gamers may already be wondering what it is planning with such a huge rectangular space.

The South Hall, meanwhile, will house the ESL Arena, which will feature eSports matches. Video game companies in the hall include Bethesda, Ubisoft, Capcom, Activision, Square Enix, and Epic Games. Games that will likely, or hopefully, be present at the floor include Ubisoft's Beyond Good and Evil 2, Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake. Will Epic Games also unveil a Fortnite Nintendo Switch version?

Another notable thing about the E3 2018 floor plan is that Microsoft is missing. The Xbox One will not be absent in this year's edition of the event though. Microsoft previously announced that its E3 2018 show, which will be its "biggest showing ever," will be held at the Microsoft Theater, across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center.
