According to a report by Laptop Mag, Prime Day is one of the most-awaited shopping events for those people who want to save a lot of money.

For Prime members, this occasion offers a lot of deals starting from smartphones to smart home equipment. As we know Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals, Amazon's shopping event works like that.

Just a sneak peek about its launch, this started as part of the company's 20th anniversary. It started in 2015 and since then, Amazon has continued its tradition of releasing exclusive deals for Prime members.

Aside from the US, Prime Day sales have already made their way to numerous countries including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Australia, China, United Arab Emirates, France, and more.

Regarding its duration, the e-commerce giant has also seen success in its expansion. It was included in the report that the Amazon Prime that took place in 2017 lasts for 36 hours.

A year later, the tech giant witnessed that it expanded into 36 hours. In the succeeding years of 2019 to 2021, Amazon noticed that it even extended to 48 hours.

At the time of writing, T3 wrote on its report that the Amazon Prime Day 2022 could come on July 11 and 12 this year. It is expected that it would kick off at 12 mn on Monday and will end at 11:59 pm on Tuesday so it would be a 48-hour shopping bonanza to look forward.
