Of course, Apple commonly has the upper hand because, aside from advanced features, many individuals also prefer the iOS models due to the "status symbol" it offers.

However, some experts claimed that the latest strategy of Apple to divide the base and Pro models of its new iPhones may actually become a disadvantage.

If this is true, then there's a high chance that consumers will start transitioning to Android models.

The lower iPhone 14 models are expected to have the A15 bionic chipset, as well as a 12-megapixel rear camera, and low-temperature polySilicon OLED displays.

Aside from this, these handsets also don't have the ability to support the new iOS 16 always-on display feature. Some experts claimed that it will not have the ProMotion 120Hz refresh rate as well.

Meanwhile, the advanced iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are expected to have a more advanced SoC, specifically the A16 bionic chipset.

Apple will also integrate a 48-megapixel camera with low-light capability and the new low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) TFT OLED display.

The main issue here is that getting the lower-end versions of the new iPhone 14 seems unreasonable. There are already some Android competitors that offer more advanced features than the ones mentioned above.

Another great thing about the next-gen Android smartphones is that they are way cheaper compared to the base iPhone 14 models.

Is iPhone 14 Worth It?

TechRadar recently reported that the new iPhone 14 is being overhyped, claiming that this new Apple smartphone may not be as exciting as consumers expect.

The upcoming iOS handset model is not the only advanced smartphone that you should look forward to. The latest Xiaomi 13 is also expected to make its entrance this coming November.

Some rumors claimed that it will be integrated with the latest Android 13, an advanced 2k resolution display, as well as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Soc.

Previously, the iPhone 14 suppliers increased in numbers ahead of the device's launch date.

On the other hand, a rare iPhone 13 Pro discount event happened in China.
