Google is offering its Virtual Private Network (VPN) for users under the Google One subscription service, and it is now available for the Mac and Windows platform for all needs in browsing. The famed Google VPN service is available via its top-tier subscription under the "Premium" plan which also offers 2 TB of storage for the drive.

The new service also offers a desktop app for the Apple and Microsoft systems that will allow the use of VPN on any browser, not exclusive to Google Chrome.

Google One updated its top tier plan, the "Premium," to include its latest addition and support for its VPN service to arrive for the Mac and Windows platform in its recent upgrade. As reported by 9to5 Mac, the Premium plan now offers Mac and Windows inclusions for its famed VPN support, available for desktop browsers and more.

It also means that the Google One VPN service will also work on different apps installed on one's computer, as it is not exclusive to Google Chrome as an extension.

Google's VPN service is available with a dedicated app, and users may toggle the settings and use them for their different requirements for a private network on their internet access.

Google One's Premium plan offers the VPN app for its subscribers, and it would take them $9.99 monthly, or an annual discounted plan of $99.99.

It includes a massive 2 TB Google Drive for all cloud storage needs that may be shared across devices, as well as sharing the service to five other users with Google accounts. It also offers the Google Workspace premium under the subscription.

Google's Subscription Service

Google One was established in 2018 to deliver a subscription service for all, centering on the cloud storage platform of the company, Google Drive. It is like the different storage subscription services like the iCloud, Microsoft OneDrive, and other services, except that Google One's offers upgraded to deliver new experiences for all.

The internet company centered on its strengths and products with the Google suite for its cloud-based office services like Docs, Sheets, Photos, Drive, and more.

Paid subscriptions are now the way for companies to ensure that they get paid regularly for their services, as opposed to their previous offers of a one-time payment for their products.

One of the initial VPN services from Google One centers on Android, one that offered the service in late 2020, before adding its iOS support on February 2022 for Apple users.

Now, the latest addition to its VPN service with a dedicated app is available for users on the Mac and Windows platform, accessible for different browsers and computer applications. Google One offers more of what people need for a VPN, as well as access to a massive drive and better offers for Google's suite under the subscription.
