A new report claims that AT&T will offer the LG G Pad 7.0 LTE (V410) tablet. An image of the 7-inch tablet has been leaked showing AT&T's logo below its rear camera.

Samsung and LG have been trying to outdo each other with competing smartphones and tablets. The two companies raced each other to launch the first smartphone with a flexible display last year and this year it was all about which company would release the first smartphone with a Quad-HD 2560 x 1440 display.

LG managed to top Samsung in releasing its QHD-equipped flagship G3 smartphone. Samsung didn't give LG too long to shine and launched the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, which also features a 2560 x 1440 QHD display. The smartphone is currently only available in Korea, but many expect Samsung's rumored Galaxy F / S5 Prime will bring that super-sharp screen to the masses in the near future.

LG is now targeting Samsung's Galaxy Tab 4, which just launched on AT&T. According to evleaks, the LG G Pad 7.0 LTE will be making its way to AT&T and will likely be marketed as an affordable midrange tablet with 4G LTE built-in. The tipster also revealed the model number for the tablet, which is V410. He did not reveal any expected release date.

The LG G Pad 7.0 features a 7-inch 1280 x 800 IPS (in-plane switching) display with a pixel density of 216 pixels per inch (ppi). It's powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 1 GB of RAM.

LG has included 8 GB of internal storage and microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64 GB microSD cards. Its camera capabilities consist of a 3-megapixel rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfiies. In terms of wireless connectivity, the G Pad 7.0 is packing a 4G LTE radio, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and infrared port to use the tablet as a universal remote control. The slate is expected to ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat and use a 4,000 mAh battery.
