Earlier this month, The CW released a two-night Arrow and The Flash crossover that helped set up the next superhero series to debut on the network, Legends of Tomorrow. DC fans can continue to expect the new series to feature cameos from characters from these worlds.

Matt Nable is reportedly reprising his Arrow role as Ra's al Ghul in DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

According to ComicBook.com, The CW confirmed that Ghul will make an appearance in the ninth episode of its new series.

It is not yet known how the character will be introduced.

Known as the leader of the League of Assassin and mentor of Oliver Queen, Ra's al Ghul was assumed to be dead at the end of season 3 of the series. However, there is always a possibility he was not officially killed off — especially since he has access to the Lazarus Pit.

Ra's al Ghul is not the only Arrow character expected to be featured in Legends. Villain Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) is also reportedly appearing in the new series.

It's not yet confirmed whether or not the two appearances are somehow connected to a particular storyline for Legends.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars some familiar faces, such as Arrow's Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom and Caity Lotz as White Canary, as well as The Flash's Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold and Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave. Newcomers include Ciara Renee as Kendra/Hawkgirl, Falk Hentschel as Carter Hal/Hawkman, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter and Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow premiers on Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
