New details regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have leaked. An image of the phablet shows off its iPhone 5s-like design and another image shows its official retail box.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha has had its fair share of leaks over the last few weeks. The metal-framed smartphone was caught posing with the Galaxy S5, passed through the FCC, and was benchmarked via AnTuTu, revealing all of its specs. The most recent Galaxy Alpha leak shows off what appears to be internal Samsung marketing material for the smartphone.

While Samsung has watched the Galaxy Alpha leak on an almost daily basis, the company has been able to keep its upcoming Galaxy Note 4 out of the public's eye, until now.

The first images of what is reportedly the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have leaked. GSM Arena received the images from one of its sources and showed the Galaxy Note 4 will look very similar to the Galaxy Alpha. It is supposedly using a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The phablet has a similar metal frame with a virtually identical chamfered edge design Apple introduced with the iPhone 5 and currently uses on the iPhone 5s. The S pen is located at the bottom of the device, along with a microUSB 3.0 port and speaker grills.

Phone Arena posted an image of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4's official retail box and the device shown on the box appears to be the same device pictured above.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD display and either a Samsung Exynos 5433 octa-core CPU or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor depending on region. The phablet is also said to pack in a 16-megapixel rear camera.

There have also been rumors that it will be the first smartphone to ship with a UV sensor that will alert users of current UV levels and suggest tips via an updated version of Samsung's S Health app. There has also been talk of a possible retina scanner in place of the fingerprint scanner currently found on the Galaxy S5, S5 mini, and upcoming Galaxy Alpha.

As always, it's best to take these reports with a grain of salt. We'll know the full story very soon.
