Director Paul Feig and the new all-ladies Ghostbusters crew are not about to let any supernatural event ruin Valentine's Day for everyone in 2016, even if it was prophesied to be the end of the world. The disturbance was felt and the call was made on Feb. 14 so, in response, "Ghostbuster" released its first teaser to remind everyone that they got our backs.

The teaser is a 28-second footage of mostly police cars speeding its way to a mysterious scene where police officers and soldiers have already gathered. It is dark, silent and effectively gives the feeling of looming danger that all these uniformed men would not be able to contain whatever abomination is in sight. Of course, the central question stands: Who you gonna call?

Watch the teaser below.

While the teaser's release is a nice nod to the Valentine's Day 2016 end of the world prophecy in 1989's "Ghostbusters II," not everyone is pleased with it. Some appreciate the link to the 27 year old prophecy of the original sequel but were bummed because there was not even a single glimpse of the new team. So far, the world has only seen some stills of the cast, including Chris Hemsworth as the new team's assistant.

Those people do have a point because it would have been nice if, instead of police cars speeding to the scene, it was the Ghostbusters mobile instead. Then again, if the trailer makes up for it by at least showing the new Ghostbusters crew in uniform, maybe the wait is worth it.

There are, of course, people who gave negative comments about the entire film just based on the knowledge that the new "Ghostbusters" has an all-female crew and the 28-second teaser alone. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but, perhaps, waiting to find out more about the new film before speaking out as if they know everything about it is best, because right now, it is like telling a new born baby that his or her entire life is a disappointment even before its first cry.

The new "Ghostbusters" trailer will come out on March 3 and the film will be released in cinemas on July 15.
