Following the iOS 9.3 update, a handful of Sprint users took to Twitter and Reddit to report that they have been unable to connect to LTE data and, therefore, are compelled to use only 3G data. A fix is already in the works, said Sprint.

It appears that resets and reinstalls are not solving the problem.

“Anyone else having issues with LTE after upgrading to iOS 9.3?” asked Reddit user V-I-X. “Mine was working fine and now only 3G works.”

He went on to say that he already tried out network resets, hard resets and airplane mode toggle, but none of these methods fixed the problem.

Twitter user @bUCCY500 also reached out to @AppleSupport to report the issue.

“Let us take a look at this for you,” replied @AppleSupport. “Please DM us screenshots of Settings > Cellular to get started.”

Some affected users even reported that they are unable to receive any iMessages or updates on social media unless they are using a Wi-Fi connection.

Other users shared that they ended up just reverting back to iOS 9.2.1 to patch up the LTE connectivity problem.

It seems that most users who are encountering this problem are using Apple’s most recent devices.

MacRumors reported that Sprint has already started sending out text messages to its subscribers, acknowledging the connectivity bug that is plaguing some of them. Sprint said that it is aware of the problem and that it is already cooking up a fix for it. It also apologized for the trouble that this problem may have brought.

“Your iPhone may be having data connection issues [with] the recent software update,” reads the message. “We’re working quickly to fix. We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Apple, in the meantime, has rolled out a new iOS 9.3.1 update to fix a certain Web-linking bug. It is not clear, though, if this also fixes the Sprint LTE connectivity bug.

This is not the only bug that the new iOS 9.3 has brought in. Recently, Apple also rolled out a new iOS 9.3 build to fix the activation lock bug that bricked older iPhones and iPads.
