Paragon recently announced that it added another Ranger hero to its roster, and the new character will be available for play after the upcoming update.

The May 10 update will add GRIM.exe, a sentry combat robot that executes the commands of GRIM, the imp.

GRIM.exe makes full use of technology to cut its opponents down. He comes equipped with a pulse cannon that damages enemies directly as well as once every 8 seconds, working as both an active and a passive damage dealer.

The robot can also cast an instant shield that protects it from ranged attacks and sports an additional ability that slows enemies and pushes them away. His ultimate is called Gyro Targeted Force Orb and can pass through obstacles and non-Hero units, while it acts like a homing projectile, never missing the enemy.

Paragon: Essentials Edition will enter stores on June 7, and it has GRIM.exe under its belt. This edition brings no less than five Hero Master Challenges, and the new hero is part of the menu.

Epic Games makes a point of giving access to all Heroes in Paragon for free, and the latest hero is no exception. Members of Early Access can toy around with the GRIM.exe sentry combat unit as soon as Tuesday. Those who are not yet part of the Early Access program may simply purchase a Founder's Pack to get a taste of the fast-paced, free-to-play, multiplayer online battle arena game.

Should you preorder the Essentials Edition, an additional $10 worth of Paragon Coins go into your account. Coins are useful as gamers can use them to purchase various boosts, skins and even Master Challenges.

A myriad of stores, such as Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart and Target allow you to get the Essentials Edition.

In late April, Paragon players also got to see another whacky character duo, Iggy & Scorch, joining the game. We covered the havoc-wrecking, Molotow-yielding team in our story, and you can read all about it. Iggy & Scorch got its own incendiary presentation video.

Now, Epic Games and PlayStation released a short clip showcasing GRIM.exe's potential, and you can check it out below.
