A promo image of the Samsung Gear Fit 2 gets leaked, and as expected, it's making rounds online.

This development comes hot on the heels of when the smartphone maker released a photo of it and the Gear IconX presumably by accident on its website, as it soon took them down. Of course, that didn't happen before anyone managed to save copies of it.

The leaked shot this time around showcases not only the sleek profile of the Gear Fit 2, but also the functions it can bring to the table.

As everyone can see, wearers will have access to the time and map, weather and fitness services via the smartwatch. Also, it looks like it'll be available in black, pink and blue.

Assuming that this is the real deal, it has a couple of significant improvements across the board compared with the first Gear Fit that rolled out back in 2014.

With that said, the more capable sibling of the original is believed to sport a 1.84-inch AMOLED touch-screen display and 4 GB worth of internal storage, which is likely for audio files, maybe? What's more, it should house a newer chip, but it probably won't be straying too far from what the predecessor has under the hood in terms of performance.

Now, the leak comes from Tizen Cafe, and according to the rumor mill, the Gear Fit 2 could hit the shelves sometime in June.

Needless to say, it's recommended to take this bit of news with the usual grain of salt, and it would probably be better to tone down the excitement for now.

At any rate, what do you think of how the Gear Fit 2 could look like? Hit us up in the comments section below and feel free to tell us.
