Now that we're heading into summer, smartphone deals are increasing. The Motorola Moto X Pure Edition unlocked 32 GB smartphone is currently on sale at Amazon for $349, $50.99 less than its normal price of $399.99.

When Motorola released its flagship Moto X Pure Edition last September, it was well-received for the things Motorola added to the smartphone and what it didn't. The Moto X Pure Edition runs a pure version of Android, similar to Google's own Nexus handsets, which don't come preloaded with bloatware or installed apps and aren't running additional software on top of Android, which is designed to make the OS easier to use but is also known to slow down the overall user experience in the process.

The Motorola Moto X Pure Edition features impressive specs such as a large 5.7-inch 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD display with a pixel density of 520 pixels per inch (ppi), which is constructed out of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, Adreno 418 GPU (graphics processing unit) and 3 GB of RAM.

The handset is unlocked and will work on all four major U.S. 4G LTE network carriers: Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. The smartphone includes 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB microSD cards to increase its available space.

Motorola chose to pack in a 21-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper with LED flash for selfies and video chat. Another notable feature are the front-facing stereo speakers that make watching videos and listening to audio sound clear and crisp.

The smartphone ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop but can be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

The device packs in a large non-removable 3,000 mAh battery with TurboPower charging support, which will provide up to 10 hours of use in only 15 minutes of charging. The handset also has a water-repellent coating that will protect it from spills, splashes or rain.

If you're interested in purchasing the unlocked 32 GB Motorola Moto X Pure Edition, head over to Amazon, where you can pick it up for $349.
