Apple's much-awaited and hyped iOS 10 software update has opened up a Pandora's box as the issues pertaining to the OS continue to plague those who have updated.

On Thursday, Sept. 15, we reported that subscribers of U.S. network operator T-Mobile were facing blackout issues after updating their compatible iPhone to the latest Apple OS.

T-Mobile's subscribers who had updated to iOS 10 were essentially losing out on service for a short period as their device got bricked briefly. Irate users thronged Apple support forums to complain and reveal that a network connection was only established after they rebooted their iPhone.

T-Mobile's CTO Neville Ray pacified subscribers in a tweet that Apple was working on a fix for the issue, which would be pushed out in the next 48 hours. True to the promise, Apple has now rolled out an update that fixes the blackout issue after the iOS 10 update.

The arrival of the fix, Carrier Update 25.2, was first spotted by eagle-eyed redditors who shared the news. They also confirmed that the update also resolved the connectivity issue.

"Yay. Seems to have fixed the problem for me, time will tell if it stays that way but have high hopes. To be clear, previously I not only had bouts of 'No Service' that couldn't be fixed except with a reboot, but I was also having 4G with one or two bars and could receive and make all the calls I wanted but had absolutely no data collection. I was in that state when I got the 25.2 update and immediately was able to get data again," shared a redditor.

John Legere, the CEO of T-Mobile, also took to Twitter to confirm the arrival of the Carrier Update 25.2 for T-Mobile subscribers.

So if you have updated to the latest iOS build on your T-Mobile variant of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus or iPhone SE, then follow the instructions shared by Legere in his tweet. Those who have not updated to iOS 10 can navigate to Settings > General > Software Update.

T-Mobile also confirmed the arrival of the fix on its official Twitter account.

Hopefully, this will be the end of the drama surrounding iOS 10 since it released to users on Sept. 13.
