In July, Microsoft revealed the 2 TB Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Limited Edition bundle, which includes exclusive in-game items, Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition, a season pass, a six-gear pass and the limited-edition Crimson Omen controller.

To further celebrate the upcoming release of Gears of War 4, Microsoft has unveiled a couple more Xbox One S bundles for the fourth main installment of the third-person shooter franchise.

White 1 TB Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Bundle

As expected, one of the new Xbox One S Gears of War 4 bundle involves the 1 TB iteration of the Xbox One S (white). It comes with a matching wireless controller and a digital copy of Gears of War 4. As an Xbox Play Anywhere title, a digital copy of Gears of War 4 allows users to play on both the Xbox One console platform and Windows 10 PC.

But worry not. Even with constant shifting between platforms, Microsoft assures that the game progress, as well as Achievements and Gamerscore, will be saved and can be accessed through Xbox Live. The white 1 TB Xbox One S Gears of War 4 bundle is listed at $349.

Deep Blue 500 GB Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Special Edition Bundle

The second one is actually a special edition bundle that's specific to Gears of War 4. It comes with the 500 GB version of Xbox One S, but there's a twist. Instead of the basic white, both the Xbox One S console unit and its accompanying controller will be deep blue.

This deep blue 500 GB Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Special Edition bundle will be exclusive to Microsoft Stores and GameStop in the United States for $299. For interested parties in Australia, the bundle will be limited to EG Games, as well as Microsoft Stores.

Bear in mind that those within the United States who will opt for the deep blue special edition bundle will get a physical copy of Gears of War 4. But that will be limited to customers within the United States. Australians will have to settle for a digital download.

For a limited time, purchases of the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 bundle and the Xbox One S Gears of War 4 Special Edition bundle will be complemented by the entire Gears of War collection for free.

Preorders

Those who are just interested in buying the game and have no plans of owning another Xbox One S will be happy to know that preordering the game alone also has great bonuses. It doesn't really matter where you preorder your copy of the game - at the end of the day, you'll still be getting a costume for Delmont "Del" Walker, a playable multiplayer character in Gears of War 4.

Of course there are also exclusive packs from each retailer. For instance, the Brothers To The End Gear Pack, which gives Gold Wave weapon skins for the Lancer and Gnasher shotgun, as well as skins for playable characters, can only be bought from Best Buy, GameStop and Amazon.

About Gears of War: Microsoft Acquisition And Gears of War 4 Release Date

Microsoft already bought the rights to the Gears of War game franchise from Epic Games back in 2014. In fact, Gears of War 4 is the first Gears of War franchise installment that was not developed by Epic Games. The Coalition, a Canadian game developer and a subsidiary of Microsoft, took the reins from Epic Games.

With that said, it should come as no surprise that Microsoft will release Gears of War 4 for both Xbox One and Windows PC on Oct. 11.
