It's 31 on 13 for eager fans of Sony as the company gets set to release the PlayStation VR, its own virtual reality headset, along with 31 game titles all on Oct. 13.

This is stirring some excitement among VR and PlayStation fans alike, knowing that the device will allow them to play all 31 different games on a new platform.

Before announcing the release of the PlayStation VR, Sony made clear that, in order for fans to achieve the Sony VR experience, they would need to have the PlayStation 4 console and a TV. This information debunks some of the rumors circulating that the upcoming VR headset requires a very powerful PC for it to give maximum.

The modest device requirement, of course, isn't the only good news.

As mentioned, the PlayStation VR will bring along almost three dozen different games as part of the experience.

According to Business Insider UK, the PlayStation VR will provide support for Hustle Kings VR, Tomb Raider: Blood Ties, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, World War Toons and Batman: Arkham VR.

The Hustle Kings VR is based on the popular pool game that many players are fond of. Tomb Raider: Blood Ties is the Rise of the Tomb Raider PSVR-compatible mission that allows the players to assume Lara Croft's role in searching through the Croft Manor, looking for clues that will reveal the legacy of her family.

Batman: Arkham VR, on the other hand, enables players to take on the world as the Dark Knight, with various types of crime-solving tasks and mini games using a long list of Bat-gadgets.

The PlayStation VR will roll out of the market along with other games: 100ft Robot Golf, Ace Bandana, Battlezone VR, Bound, Driveclub VR, EVE: Gunjack, EVE: Valkyrie, Harmonix Music VR, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live, Headmaster, Here They Lie, Job Simulator, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Loading Human, SportsBarVR and Super Stardust Ultra VR.

Furthermore, the PlayStation VR also includes PlayStation VR Worlds, Rez Infinite, RIGS Mechanized Combat League, SuperHyperCube, The Assembly, Playroom VR, Thumper, Tumble VR, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, Volume Coda, and Wayward Sky as part of the game bundle.

Those who wish to be among the first buyers of the PlayStation VR can head over to the nearest Best Buy outlet. The company will open 350 stores at 12:01 a.m. ET on Oct. 13 for a midnight launch.
