Pop star Lady Gaga was filmed taping a brand new segment of the viral video hit "Carpool Karaoke" along with host James Corden.

The two were captured by a sharp eyed fan singing and dancing to one of Gaga's biggest hit songs, "Bad Romance" as they tooled around the streets of Los Angeles.

Last week, Lady Gaga teased fans by tweeting a picture of herself along with "Carpool Karaoke" host Corden, along with the caption, "Had a lil fun with @JKCorden today! coming soon!". Now, an eagle eyed fan of the pop star has posted video footage, apparently taken with her smartphone, of the two stars as they were in the midst of filming the segment.

In the short clip, you can hear audio of the surprised fan exclaiming "Oh my god!" as she spots Gaga in the passenger seat of a Corden-driven sedan, replete with cameras on either side of the windshield facing into the vehicle. The two riders are completely engrossed in the choreography of an as-yet- unknown song, when Gaga spots the onlooker and happily rolls down the window.

"I love you so much!" the fan shouts to Gaga, who smiles and replies, "I love you too!" She leaves the window down as the car rolls off, and it becomes apparent that the song that she and Corden are jamming to is one of her biggest pop smashes, "Bad Romance."

Several media outlets as well as the uploader of the YouTube video have mistakenly identified the song's title as "I Want Your Love." They may have been confused by the fact that the lyrics of "Bad Romance" heard being sung is in fact "I Want Your Love," which is also the title of a separate Gaga song, a cover of Chic's 1978 disco hit that Gaga recorded especially for the Tom Ford 2016 summer fashion campaign.

"Carpool Karaoke" segments generally air first on Corden's hit late night talk show, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and are then uploaded to the show's YouTube channel shortly thereafter. The clip is likely to air fairly soon, in advance of Gaga's release of her brand new studio album Joanne, which is slated for release on Oct. 21. The singer just released the second single from the collection, entitled "Million Reasons," a pop rock ballad with elements of country music, signaling a new direction for Gaga instead of the electronic dance pop that characterized most of her previous solo work.

It will be interesting to see how Gaga's fans take to her new style, as well as how well the "Carpool Karaoke" clip does in relation to some of the segment's other biggest YouTube successes, with Adele and Justin Bieber having amassed the most views so far for Corden's viral video hit. While waiting for the full segment to debut, you can check out the fan footage previously described in the clip below.
