The first trailer for the Power Rangers reboot film came and went with no look at the film's giant dinosaur Zords, much to the disappointment of fans. Posters released ahead of New York Comic-Con give a partial look at what to expect from each Zord, but the overall design of the machines are still a mystery.

Thanks to a newly revealed toy (via RangerNation), that is no longer the case. The toy is for none other than the Red Ranger's T-Rex Zord, and while it might not be 100 percent accurate to what the Zord will look like in the film, it does at least give fans a good idea of what to expect.

Like the redesigned Power Rangers suit, the T-Rex Zord has a liquid metal appearance and in many ways makes the machine looks more like an alien than a dinosaur. The Zord in the image for the toy is shown to sport one massive claw on each foot and is hunched down close to the ground. It has various missiles for hands and a massive cannon on its back. A blue crystal can be seen on top of the Zord's head. The crystal motif makes perfect sense, as the redesigned ranger suits also sport blue crystals in the center of the chestpiece. The T-Rex Zord comes with a miniature Red Ranger as well, though it's hard to say if the scale of the two figures are movie accurate. The toy's description also specifically states the T-Rex Zord can be combined with other Zords to form the mighty MegaZord, which seems to confirm that the MegaZord will, in fact, be in the film.

Also revealed are toys for the Power Morpher and Red Ranger's previously revealed Power Sword. The Power Morpher comes with five power coins, one for each dinosaur themed Zord, and features various lights and sounds.

Overall, the look of this new T-Rex Zord is far from the look of the traditional Zords seen in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. But that's to be expected based on everything we've seen about the film so far. From the origin of the rangers to Rita Repulsa, nearly everything about the original series has been re-imagined for a modern audience. Whether or not that's a good thing remains to be seen.

Power Rangers is in theaters March 24, 2017.
