Faraday Future has released a teaser video showing its newest electric SUV in a drag race against a Bentley Bentayga, Ferrari 488 GTB, and Tesla Model X P100D. The result: Faraday Future's mystery vehicle owned the track.

Don't blink if you want to see just how fast Faraday Future's mysterious electric SUV reaches the finish line because it beat the Tesla Model X, which the company hails as one of its fastest electric SUV. Blink and the vehicles are already halfway down the track.

Faraday Future vs The World

Just imagine this: the Bentley Bentayga can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4 seconds; Ferrari officially listed its 488 GTB as capable of going from 0 to 62 in 3 seconds; and the Tesla claims that its Model X P100D can go from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds.

Things, however, would be even more exciting if Faraday Future raced its SUV against the Tesla Model S P100D instead, since it is supposed to have a 0 to 60 acceleration time of 2.5 seconds.

In the 45-second video aptly titled "Faraday Future vs the World" — because everything is so fast, three races ended in less than a minute — Peter Savagian, Faraday Future's vice president for Propulsion Engineering, talks about how the company focused on improving the mystery SUV by going above and beyond what the three other vehicles could offer.

Steve Schulz, Powertrain Technical Fellow, also revealed that the company worked on increasing the current in the vehicle to provide more torque and allow for greater acceleration, adding that the company's software has a definite competitive advantage against others.

Faraday Future #FirstForward

The company also adopted the hashtag #FirstForward as its way of claiming that its SUV has a quicker response, and it definitely shows just how being the first to move forward in the race gives Faraday Future an edge over its competitors.

Even more exciting than the race and the result is the tease about "more torque to come" toward the end of the video. Watch and be amazed.

Faraday Future is definitely doing a good job of intensifying the hype for its first consumer SUV, which is due to be unveiled on Jan. 3, 2017 during the CES.
