The LG G7 ThinQ has been leaked several times already, but the most recent one offers a view of each side of the phone.

LG G7 ThinQ Shown Off In All Angles

Notorious tipster Evan Blass has leaked an image of the renders of what he claims to be the LG G7 ThinQ. The image showcases the phone on every side, leaving nothing about its design to speculations and rumors. The most interesting bits, though, are the notch and the dedicated Google Assistant button.

While every other Android phone being released in 2018 are adopting the iPhone X notch, fans did not expect LG to do the same. What's worse is that the display still has a bottom bezel, which defeats the purpose of having a notch. If the leak is proved to be accurate, then LG is losing the unique qualities that set it apart from other flagships.

As if the notch is not enough, the LG G7 ThinQ is adopting another universally hated feature: a dedicated button for virtual assistants. Samsung's Bixby button was not exactly a hit, yet LG seems to think it would work. Considering, though, that the G7 has Google Assistant instead of Bixby, fans might eventually warm up to the dedicated button.

Other not-so-important yet noteworthy features are the 3.5mm headphone jack, which other flagships already ditched, and the ThinQ branding that indicates the inclusion of AI features.

LG G7 ThinQ Leaks Reveal Specifications

The latest leak corroborates the previous ones, which revealed the front and the back of the flagship. All design elements seem to be in place, except for the G7 ThinQ branding, including the notch and the bottom bezel.

The previous leak showcased five shades: Platinum Grey, Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, Matte Moroccan Blue, and Raspberry Rose.

Fans already have an idea of the LG G7 ThinQ specifications too thanks to other leaks and rumors. Under the hood, a Snapdragon 845 processor will power the phone together with 4 GB of RAM. According to an early benchmark, it might beat the Samsung Galaxy S9 in terms of speed.

The LG flagship will also reportedly come with 64 GB internal storage, a Boombox speaker, and far-field voice recognition that will allow the phone to hear the user up to 17 feet away.

Lastly, a wide angle 16-megapixel camera and a normal 16-megapixel camera will comprise the rear set-up.

The LG G7 ThinQ will be revealed worldwide on May 2 in an event in New York. Until then, the leaks must be taken with a grain of salt.
