Gwyneth Paltrow feels as if she married for the first time when she tied the knot with Brad Falchuk, a TV producer, on Sept. 29.

The 46-year-old actress was previously married to the vocalist of the renowned band Coldplay, Chris Martin. The two got married in 2003 and divorced in 2014. Notably, the former celebrity couple did not have a grand wedding.

The band frontman was not able to attend the occasion because he was performing at the Global Citizen Festival in New York. According to the actress, she sees her ex-husband like a brother.

"We're very familial. It's really nice. It's great," she stated when she guested at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The Celebrity Wedding

Falchuk and the Goop founder got married at the actress's mansion in Long Island, New York. Prior to the big day, a source reported that their wedding will have traditional touches. The source also added that her 14-year-old daughter, Apple, and her 12-year-old son, Moses, will also be involved in the ceremony.

Paltrow has fully trusted her wedding planner for the wedding, including the minor details. Big white tents were present in the area. The wedding came after the actress had celebrated her 46th birthday.

"I'm excited about everything! I've never had a wedding before. So even though I'm 45, I sort of feel like a 21-year-old," she previously said.

The American Horror Story producer was seen driving himself to the special occasion with his red SUV. The wedding was also attended by star-studded guests that included critically acclaimed director Steven Spielberg, Benji Madden, Cameron Diaz, and Iron Man star Robert Downey, Jr.

Gwyneth Paltrow's Engagement

The celebrity also opened up about her engagement to the producer and finding love even after a divorce. The mother of two stated that she has accepted how complicated romantic love can be.

"I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy," Paltrow added.

The two first met each other when Paltrow made a guest appearance on Glee in 2010. Notably, the actress and the co-creator of the hit show announced their engagement on Goop Magazine's Sex & Love issue after seeing each other for more than three years.

"We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship," the famous couple said about their engagement.
