Samsung has things in store for CES 2019, but they're not really surprises anymore since it's already jumping the gun on a few products, like the so-called Space Monitor, a just-unveiled gaming display which not only ensures topnotch video quality, but is also mindful of the space it occupies.

One of three monitors Samsung plans to show off at CES, the Space Monitor comes with a fully integrated arm that can attach to the edge of a desk, instead of a stand. This immediately gives the user more room on their desk and also helps toward a much cleaner and more polished overall workspace.

The arm swivels downward for optimum comfort and adjustability, and the display can even be pushed back dead-flat against a wall when it's not in use, allowing the user to maximize desk space as much as possible.

There are two Space Monitor models: the first is a 27-inch behemoth with a Quad HD resolution, and the other is a 32-inch model that offers 4K Ultra HD resolution. It's clear Samsung thought about the design thoroughly: cables can be fed within the integrated arm to keep them organized and stash the clutter away. Apart from the Space Monitor, Samsung is also poised to show off the CRG9, an ultra-wide gaming monitor akin to two 27-inch 16:9 monitors stitched side-by-side. Made with gamers in mind, the monitor offers a 120Hz refresh rated, Quad HD resolution — for both screens — HDR10, and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. It's also got picture-by-picture functionality and a smaller stand size for more efficient space usage.

Samsung UR59C

Finally, there's the UR59C monitor, a 32-inch curved model boasting 3, 840 x 2,160 4K Ultra HD resolution. The thing is ultra-slim — just barely even 6.7 mm deep — and comes with a two-pronged base that also takes into efficient use of space into account.

"All of these monitors are part of our larger strategy this year, to keep giving you choices so you can get what you want — beautiful, hardworking devices that inspire you to do more," said Seog-gi Kim, Executive VP of Samsung's Visual Display Business.

Both the Space Monitor and UR59C are now available for preorder on Best Buy, Amazon, and Samsung's website, but users will have to wait until later this year to get their hands on the CRG9. Expect more details to surface once CES hits sometime this January. Make sure to check back with Tech Times as we learn more.
