Italian supercar maker Lamborghini is celebrating its motorsport heritage by unveiling two new models: the Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster and the Huracán EVO GT Celebration.

The company announced at the Monterey Car Week last week that it will release limited supplies of the Aventador SVJ 63 and the Huracán EVO GT. Only 63 Aventadors and 36 Huracán EVO GTs will be offered to the public.

Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster

Lamborghini first announced its new Aventador model at Monterey last year. Even before it was revealed, the supercar already made a name for itself by breaking records at a Nürburgring Nordschleife demonstration in Germany.

Driver Marco Mapelli took a camouflage-painted supercar around the 20.6-kilometer (12.8-mile) track in 6:44.97 minutes. This set a new lap record for any production car tested at Nordschleife.

The speed of the Aventador SVJ comes from its 6.5-liter V12 engine that is capable of yielding 760 of horsepower. Its lightweight design allows the car to achieve 1.98 kg (4.37 lb) per horsepower power-to-weight ratio.

The Lamborghini supercar also features the company's patented Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva aerodynamics system, which helps the vehicle sustain its high speed on the track.

Those who will buy a super-exclusive Aventador SVJ 63 will be given a personalized model. They can choose from one of eight designs, all of which can only be found on this specific Roadster.

The Aventador SVJ 63 that Lamborghini revealed was decked in Grigio Acheso matte gray paint with carbon fiber elements. It also had Arancio Dac orange details and matte titanium on its wheel rims.

Huracán EVO GT Celebration

Meanwhile, the Huracán EVO GT was specially designed to pay tribute to Lamborghini's back-to-back wins at the 2018 and 2019 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring races. The two races are collectively known as the "36 Hours of Florida" event.

The Celebration model features a V10 engine, similar to the one seen on the Huracán EVO GT racing car. It also comes in Verde Egeria green and Arancio Aten orange, which are the signature colors of the Grasser Racing Team.

Those who will order Huracán EVO GT Celebration will get to choose one of nine designs, all of which will come in green and orange color combinations.

The supercar will have single nut racing wheels and colored brake calipers. Every model will also be adorned with the number "11". Buyers will be allowed to choose whether to add a Squadra Corse shield on the roof of the Celebration.

The Lamborghini Huracan EVO GT Celebration will be exclusive to U.S. buyers and will be delivered in early 2020.
