The new iPhone 11 is still a few weeks away from launching, but fans who can't wait can watch the smartphone in a video for now.

Dummy iPhone 11 In Video

Those who have been following the iPhone 11's development closely are well-versed on the smartphone's potential features, but it's still a treat to see it in action.

In a new YouTube video, ConceptsiPhone gave eager fans a peek at what the actual units of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro are expected to look like.

To be clear, the smartphones featured in the video are not real iPhones, but mock-up dummies that the ConceptsiPhone team got their hands on.

According to BGR, these physical mock-ups are likely based on schematics stolen from the Foxconn manufacturing factory where iPhones are made. These design files are used by third-party companies to make mock-ups as well as protective cases ahead of the mobile phone's official release.

It captures most of the details that have leaked about the iPhones at this point, so, give or take a few of the finer points.

Dummy Inaccuracies

Of course, the dummies featured in the video are not entirely accurate with BGR pointing out a couple of mishaps. For instance, the video shows the mute button appearing as it does in old iPhone models even though the upcoming iPhones will feature a round mute toggle similar to the iPad Pro. The camera's surrounding area in the new series is also expected to match the color of the unit, instead of appearing black as it does in the video's dummies.

Finally, the back panel of the smartphone models in the video may be clear glass like the iPhone XS series, but many reports have revealed that the iPhone 11 series will feature frosted glass.

Despite the few mistakes, the video is still likely to be the closest early look at the new generation Apple products before the launch date.

Apple Releases

The iPhone 11 lineup will likely consist of the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Apple is staging its big iPhone event on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Preorders are expected to be available on Friday, Sept. 13 with the official release following a week later on Friday, Sept. 20.

Aside from the iPhone series, little is known about the other products that Apple will be launching in September. However, there have been reports about a number of products to be released in 2019, including a new Apple Watch, a Mac Pro, a MacBook Pro, iMac, a few new iPad models, and Apple TV+.
