Apple always has a big month every September, and this year is no different.

The Cupertino brand is expected to soon unveil a trio of new iPhones and the next iteration of the Apple Watch, to name a few. In other words, the event is shaping up to be a huge one, but things don't end there. It's also rumored to reopen its Fifth Avenue store in New York City as part of the festivities.

Flagship iPhone, Flagship Store

Citing a "person familiar with the matter," AppleInsider reports that the iPhone 11 or whatever it's going to be called will be available for purchase on Sept. 20. On the same day, the company's flagship store on Fifth Avenue is said to be reopened.

Apple is holding an event on Sept. 10 to announce new hardware, including the next iPhone lineup, and the word in town is, the handsets will be up for preorder on Sept. 13 and, as noted, go on sale on Sept. 20. If history is anything to go by, this timeline aligns with Apple's launch schedules in the past.

Back in 2017, the company closed down its flagship store for renovations. Two years later, the glass cube entryway was spotted to have been rebuilt and designed with a rainbow theme, a color palette that matches Apple's recent invitations. This leads to an underground area with a 77,000 sq. ft. of floor space to accommodate and showcase a variety of new products, according to the report.

At the September event, Apple is also expected to take the wraps off the Apple Watch Series 5 and an improved version of Apple TV, among other things. Speaking of which, fans can watch the whole shindig on YouTube for the first time ever.

iPhone 11 Rumors

It's still unclear what the new iPhone 11 models will be called, but the rumor mill says the lineup could be the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max, or iPhone 11, iPhone 11R, and iPhone 11 Max.

Specs are also up in the air, but leaks say the three will sport an A13 processor, Wi-Fi 6, reverse wireless charging, and Face ID. Two of the more expensive versions are also said to have an OLED display, while the cheapest out of the bunch is going to have an LCD panel.
