A teardown of the iPhone 11 Pro Max has just revealed that it has a battery capacity of about 4,000 mAh — 3,969 mAh, to be exact.

Apple tends to leave out details such as this, so it's usually up to the users to fill in the blanks when it comes to the iPhones specs.

iPhone 11 Pro Max Battery Capacity Confirmed

This early teardown of the iPhone 11 Pro Max comes from a user over at the Chinese microblogging website Weibo (via GSMArena).

From the look of things, Apple used an L-shaped battery for the new iPhone, which it began using starting with the iPhone X.

As noted, the iPhone in question has a 3,969 mAh battery that's rated at 15.04 Wh. For comparison's sake, its predecessor, the iPhone XS Max, has a 3,174 mAh battery that's rated at 12.08 Wh. In other words, the new iPhone has 25 percent more battery capacity than the previous model.

It's also worth mentioning that the Chinese regulator TENAA said that the iPhone 11 Pro Max would have a 3,969 mAh battery, which, needless to say, falls in line with what the teardown has discovered.

iPhone 11 Pro Max RAM Confirmed As Well

Speaking of the iPhone 11 Pro Max's specs, early Geekbench benchmark testing has revealed that all the new iPhones have 4 GB of RAM. Apple also tends to not disclose the amount of RAM of its iPhones.

TENAA also said that the top-of-the-line iPhone would have 4 GB of RAM, backing up the findings of the benchmark tests.

As for the other iPhone models, the iPhone 11 is said to have a 3,046 mAh battery, while the iPhone 11 Pro is rumored to sport a 3,190 mAh battery, but a leak has said that they would have a 3,110 mAh battery and a 3,190 mAh battery, respectively. The same leak also said that the iPhone 11 Pro Max would have a 3,500 mAh battery and that the Pro models would have 6 GB of RAM, so it seems that it didn't turn out to be too accurate.
