It wouldn't be an "Assassin's Creed" title without a cult that every main character has to fight against, and "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla" is no different. This time, Eivor will be fighting the Order of the Ancients.

Here's how you can unlock the Order of the Ancients questline.

According to PCGamer, the Order of the Ancients questline should be familiar to fans who have played "Assassin's Creed Odyssey" and finished the Cult of Kosmos quest, which requires you to take down a similar hierarchy of Templar enemies.

If you have a hard time unlocking the questline for "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla" or finding the Order targets, here's a little guide for you.

How to Unlock Order of the Ancients Questline

Once you've reached England, Eivor will start a small settlement, and soon after, you will be prompted to build the Hidden One's Bureau. As per our "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla" beginner's guide, you'll want to build it as soon as you can as this will unlock this major questline.

To build the Bureau, you will need 30 Supplies and 400 Raw Materials, which you can get by doing Raids.

Once the Bureau is done, you will see the Assassin Hytham, an NPC that once you talk to, will teach Eivor the Leap of Faith ability as well as unlocking the "Order" tab on the game's pause menu.

If you check out the "Order" tab, you will see silhouettes of the Order targets, a group of scheming Pagans that rule England and beyond from the shadows. Your task is to kill each of the Order members and retrieve their medallions for some cool rewards.

How to Find the Order Members

There are a total of 45 Order of the Ancients members, and they operate in a hierarchy, so assassinating a Preost or a Palatinus will lead you to a Maegester, then a dead Maegester will lead you to the Grand Maegester of the Order.

Some of the Order members will be part of the main storyline, including the one you'll assassinate before leaving Norway. However, you'll have to find the rest of the members, and you can do that by gathering clues from the other members.

There are two Pagan marks on your "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla" map, to begin with, so you can start by assassinating those Order members so you can receive some clues to the whereabouts of the other members.

More Clues

There are also Zealots that can be defeated, who are armoured knights that protect the Order members. Defeating them can be a little challenging, but you will get some important clues, so any time you see a red Knight helmet on your map, take them down when you can.

You may also complete other side quests, help the townsfolk, and create alliances outside of England as these activities could help lead you to other Order members.

After gathering clues from the game, make sure you read them on the Order menu as the last-known locations of the members will be highlighted on the map, giving you more clues as to their current whereabouts.
