Not one but three legendary Pokemon are coming back to "Pokemon GO" from Tuesday, November 24, up until Monday, November 30 only, allowing trainers to get their own Uxie, Mesprit, and Azef, also known as the Lake Trio.

According to iMore, the Lake Trio are Gen IV legendaries originally found in the Sinnoh region and are deemed Lake Guardians, with each representing something.

Uxie represents knowledge, Mesprit represents emotions, and Azef represents willpower.

Uxie, Azef, and Mesprit will be coming back to "Pokemon GO" for a limited time only.

Uxie's Weaknesses and Resistances

Uxie, as well as its fellow Lake Guardians, are all Psychic-types, so they would all have the same weaknesses and resistances.

As a Psychic-type, Uxie is resistant to all Psychic, Normal, and Electric-type attacks, so refrain from using those types of Pokemon in your team. Instead, use Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type Pokemon with those types of attacks to overcome the Legendary Pokemon and get a chance to encounter and capture it.

Best Pokemon Counters

Here are some of the best Pokemon you can use against the Legendary Lake Guardian:

Mega Gengar

Mega Gengar will be your best bet against Uxie as well as Azef and Mesprit. Although the Legendary's Psychic-based attack is super effective against Mega Gengar, it should be powerful enough to take a considerable portion of Uxie's HP, so coordinate with your friends for a Mega Gengar party.

Best moveset: Lick + Shadow Ball

Mega Houndoom

Mega Houndoom is another perfect bet against Uxie, and since it's a Dark and Fire-type, it should be resistant to the Pokemon's attacks while dealing enough damage to it.

Best moveset: Snarl + Foul Play

Giratina (Origin Forme)

Giratina is a Dark and Dragon-type and has no weaknesses against Uxie, so it should be a perfect counter against the Legendary monster. However, you'll want to use a Giratina in Origin Forme, specifically for its Shadow Ball Charged Move.

Best moveset: Shadow Claw + Shadow Ball

Here are more of your best bets against the Legendary Pokemon:

  • Darkrai with Snarl + Shadow Ball
  • Chandelure with Hex + Shadow Ball
  • Weavile with Snarl + Foul Play
  • Hydreigon with Bite + Dark Pulse
  • Mega Beedrill with Bug Bite + X-Scissor
  • Tyranitar with Bite + Crunch
  • Gengar with Lick + Shadow Ball

Back-up Counters

Of course, not every trainer will have all of these Pokemon available in their Pokedex, so if you need to fill some spots, here are some more monsters you can choose to raid Uxie.

  • Absol with Snarl + Dark Pulse
  • Banette with Shadow Claw + Shadow Ball
  • Bisharp with Snarl + Dark Pulse
  • Cacturne with Sucker Punch + Dark Pulse
  • Honchkrow with Snarl + Dark Pulse
  • Houndoom with Snarl + Foul Play
  • Mewtwo with Psycho Cut + Shadow Ball
  • Mismagius with Sucker Punch + Shadow Ball
  • Pinsir with Bug Bite + X-Scissor

If you have the Shadow versions of these monsters, you can also use them to fill up some spots when raiding Uxie.

However, you'll want to bring in as many friends as you can to quickly finish the raid since Uxie will be the most challenging of the Lake Trio, but you can technically beat it with three top-level trainers and Mega Evolved monsters as well as some weather boost your counters.
