PagerDuty CEO and Chairperson Jennifer Tejada join the UiPath Board of Directors, boosting its executive lineup with the IT industry veteran.

Her recent appointment to the UiPath board marks the growth of the overseeing body to nine members - composed of experienced technology and business leaders from leading venture capital firms and Fortune 500 companies. Tejada follows Michael Gordon and Kim Hammonds, who joined the Board of Directors last month.

Jennifer Tejada serves as the Chairperson and CEO of PagerDuty, an industry leader in digital operations management. The American cloud computing company specializes in software-as-a-service (SaaS) incident response platforms, often catering to companies' IT departments.

"Jennifer is an innredible addition to the UiPath Board of Directors," said Daniel Dines, UiPath Co-Founder and CEO, in a statement. Calling Tejada a "champion of the customer experience," Dines added that the new member of the board "brings depth in building markets, driving operational excellence, and leading high-performing teams."

The UiPath CEO also shared: "We believe her breadth in innovating products and services that support enterprises in digital transformation will be extremely valuable as UiPath continues to become a trusted enterprise advisor and fulfills our vision for the fully automated enterprise."

A SaaS Industry Veteran

Jennifer Tejada is equipped with 25 years of unique and relevant experience to UiPath moving forward. After graduating from the University of Michigan, she worked first with multinational goods manufacturer Procter & Gamble. She then worked with supply chain startup i2 Technologies before it was acquired by JDA Software. She was also the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Mincom, the software and services company known for its mining and petrochemicals software platforms, and maneuvered the company's growth and expansion before the ABB acquisition in 2011.

Before leading PagerDuty, Tejada worked as the President and CEO for Keynote Systems, leading the SaaS provider for website analytics toward a strong and profitable condition before it was acquired by Dynatrace in 2015.

Aside from the UiPath's Board of Directors, Tejada also serves as a board member of the Fortune 500 entity, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.
