"Genshin Impact" 1.4 update has released some new characters and other gameplay changes in the popular role-playing title. Aside from these, the game's latest update also offers new events that players can participate in.

One of the most awaited events is the upcoming Hangout Event, which will allow players to "date" some characters in "Genshin Impact." According to Screen Rant's latest report, the upcoming event will allow players to date several heroes in the game's roster of champions.

Aside from the upcoming Hangout event, MiHoYo, the game's publisher, is also expected to release Banner reruns, a new playable hero, and some exciting new events as well.

GameWith.Net explained that players need to acquire two quest softkeys to unlock characters available to date on the upcoming Hangout Event. What's more, it is also advisable to pay attention to the heart value of the hero you are dating.

The hero's heart value will depend on the dialogue you will choose during the event. This means that if you fail to choose the best answer, your date's heart value will decrease. Meanwhile, here is the complete list of all the characters you can date;

• Noelle
• Barbara
• Bennett
• Chongyun

Each of them will have its own set of activities and interactions. They will also have unique endings that will depend on the dialogues you will choose. However, there's a catch. Players can't have romantic connections with the aforementioned characters.

Although this is the case, it is still a great way to spend more time with them. On the other hand, those players who can unlock the "real endings" can earn Hangout Memory illustrations. If they can unlock multiple endings, they can also earn more rewards.

What is Hangout Event?

Since the upcoming Hangout Event will be based on dating different characters, many would see it as a kind of dating sim. However, MiHoYo clarified that this is not the case since players can't date the characters romantically.
