Although it's now almost virtually impossible to buy an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090, finding out just how powerful the most expensive retail GPU can be is very interesting. Why would people want to spend that much money on a GPU? Just how good is the GPU performance?

Nvidia officially Tweeted a YouTube video captioned "watch Max737lfly play" the really popular "Microsoft Flight Simulator" at 4K settings while using the GeForce RTX 3090. For those that have played the "Microsoft Flight Simulator," it's easy to picture why this is such a big deal.

"Microsoft Flight Simulator" is a game that not only allows players to learn how to navigate through most of what is happening in a real game but is also a game that is overloaded with really good scenery. The game played in higher definition would result in close-to-reality visuals and some realistic details.

'Microsoft Flight Simulator' on 4K

The GeForce RTX 3090 is known to be one of the most expensive and also one of the most powerful GPUs in the market today. Although it is extremely difficult to buy the GPU due to scalpers wiping out official retailers and reselling the GPU at massively hiked prices, the GPU still pops up on official retailers every once in a while.

The video title notes that the GeForce RTX 3090 as well as the MSFS! $100 Mods would make "Microsoft Flight Simulator" uber realistic. When looking at the video itself, the graphics are now massively upgraded and it's hard to imagine it being a video of the game. The realistic graphics show how the trees, the airports, and even just the view from the sky look on really high definition graphics.

Ultra Settings on 4K Resolution

There are only a few games as of the moment that were really designed to be played in 4K. The "Microsoft Flight Simulator" along with the mod show a game that could have been designed for this purpose. The game was reportedly played on Ultra settings making the 4K resolution as rich as one could only imagine.

The GeForce RTX 3090 is not the only model highly being sought after. Basically every single GPU is now being hunted online with resellers selling them for almost twice the price due to the difficulty in buying them. The RTX series all the way to the GTX series are now being sought after by gamers wanting to buy a good GPU for their PC build.

As of the moment, the most practical way to get a good GPU is to buy a prebuilt computer with that GPU already included. This, however, does not apply for all GPUs and is only beneficial if the buyer does not have a computer yet. If the buyer only needs a GPU, following GPU trackers on Twitter could increase their chances of buying the GPU they want.
