"The King of Fighters XV" has debuted two new characters for the game, expanding the roster of SNK's arcade fighting game with Ryo Sazaki and Robert Garcia which forms a smaller niche team in the game. The smaller niche is composed of SNK's 1992 "The Art of Fighting" characters with best friends Ryo Sazaki, Robert Gacia, and King which joined earlier for "KOF XV."

The game is nowhere near the wrap-up or finishing its development, and is looking at only 17 fighters in total for the arcade fighting game that would debut for console gaming. The release date of "The King of Fighters XV" still has unknown and unconfirmed dates from SNK, as the studio is more focused on debuting more characters.

The most recent addition was Chris, the 15th character to join and is a recurring fighter from the past editions of "The King of Fighters" franchise. Additionally, they also follow Shermie, which is a new face for the "KOF" series, and would be voiced by Japanese actress and voice talent, Erina Sato for the game.

'The King of Fighters XV': Ryo Sazaki

According to SNK Japan's Official Twitter Account, (@SNKPofficial_jp), fan-favorite and recurring fighter Ryo Sazaki is joining "The King of Fighters XV" to fight for the crown and honor to be called "The King." While the tournament is known to be a "one man take all" tournament, he is joined by his best friend known as Robert Garcia.

The latest release of SNK was a back-to-back release of two fighters for "KOF XV" and it includes Robert Garcia who is known for his special style of Kyokugen Karate. The fighter is known for his appearance in another game called "The Art of Fighting" before joining "The King of Fighters" which were both developed by SNK.

While both Ryo Sazaki and Robert Garcia are the newly added characters, they would join "King" which was recently revealed several months ago for the game's roster. What is special about the three is that they form the team of "The Art of Fighting," where they were all a part before their introduction to the "KOF" series.
