This means that the Target branches around the United States will no longer sell the popular "Pokemon Trading Card Game"

The popular store said that on May 7, a 35-year-old man suddenly pulled a gun in a Target parking lot in Brookfield, Wisconsin, after a fight happened over trading cards.

Authorities confirmed that the armed man pulled out his gun after he was assaulted by four men aged 23 to 35 years old.

"The safety of our guests and our team is our top priority," said Target.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we've decided to temporarily suspend the sale of MLB, NFL, NBA, and Pokémon trading cards within our stores, effective May 14," added the popular retail giant.
