However, some of them can be quite dangerous to do since they could affect your mental and physical health such as the TikTok craze called Weight Loss Dance.

This is a challenge that is specifically created to give you a slimmer tummy and great body form. But, experts provided a warning, claiming that this new challenge can greatly affect your overall health.

The TikTok user Janny14906 is the one that made this new challenge viral. In one of her videos, she can be seen exhaling air out. After that, she did some routines that involve flexing in and out her stomach multiple times.


To give you more idea, here's why experts suggest people not to do this new challenge.

According to Cosmopolitan's latest report, experts claimed that the new TikTok weight loss dance challenge is extremely dangerous. They explained that the exercise challenge will not reduce your abdomen size since it is a myth that you can focus on fat loss from a specific body area.

"This person is promoting this exercise as what do if you want to get skinny, she also has other posts where she says multiple times," said Sohee Lee, a personal trainer.

She added that the social media user's claim that all you need to do is an exercise for an hour and eat whatever you want is something dangerous to do. Lee also compared the TikTok challenge with going for a jog after eating a heavy meal.

On the other hand, other fitness coaches said that if you want to improve your tummy's shape, you also need to improve your balance and stability. They said that this can be done through crunches, hollow body holds, and side planks.

"We are constantly bombarded by adverts selling us unrealistic expectations," said Sirin Atceken, a psychologist at WeCure.

How to do the New TikTok Green Screen Duets

Aside from the new fitness challenge on TikTok, there's another trend in social media. However, this one is not dangerous to do. 

If you want to do this, Digital Music explained that you need to start in the Duet panel. After that, you need to select the green screen filter in the options provided. After that, you must select a video to use as your background. 

Once you are done with this, you can now record yourself to duet your chosen content.
