AMD Ryzen 5 5600X restock has been spotted on Amazon. This is an extremely rare occurrence as the CPU is now selling at its original SRP.

Although not extremely rare in comparison to the AMD GPUs in the market, it is still rare to find computer components like CPUs and GPUs being sold at its original price.

Scalpers Buy Out AMD and NVIDIA Products

Scalpers have taken over the market as bots buy out in-demand PC parts and resell them to gamers at extremely marked up prices.

This is especially true in the GPU market, where buying either the newest AMD Radeons or NVIDIA GeForces could cost an insane amount of money.

The reason why scalpers are able to take control of the market nowadays is because of the global chip shortage that has heavily crippled supply, as well as the pandemic that has sped up online purchases. Since gamers can't go to stores and purchase the graphics card physically, they will have to order online.

PS5 Restock and Xbox Series X Restock Online

When it comes to online sales, most online retailers immediately run out of popular gaming electronics the moment they become available.

One popular example of this is the PS5 as well as the Xbox Series X. It is extremely difficult to purchase these consoles online as of the moment, and will continue to be difficult until the supply is fixed.

For those wanting to buy either gaming consoles or other gaming related parts, the best thing to do in order to stand a chance against those notorious scalpers is to follow restock tracker Twitter accounts. These Twitter accounts give notifications of when new restocks will be available on different online retailers.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Amazon

As of recently, a certain restock tracker for GPUs, CPUs, PS5, Xbox Series X, and other gaming related electronics has just announced that there is available stock for the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X on Amazon.

While buyers have been unlucky lately, the new restock post was quite surprising since the CPU sold at its original price.

Due to scalpers controlling the market, it is sometimes very hard to time a perfect PC part purchase at its SRP. Most of the time, these parts are sold at higher prices. When comparing the Amazon listing for the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and the original SRP as noted by PCMag, gamers will be relieved that the CPU hasn't been marked up.

GPU for Crypto Mining

The good thing about the CPU is that it isn't that widely used, unlike the GPU, which is oftentimes used for Mining. Due to the crackdown of China on cryptominers, however, the demand for GPUs to be used for crypto mining could decrease over time.

For those that don't know the reason why this could have a large impact on the supply of GPUs is because China is currently responsible for 65% of Bitcoin mining as of the moment, according to CNBC. With the crackdown in place, the demand for GPUs in China alone could decrease.
