iPhone 13 Release Date Predictions Suggest the Phone 'Might' Launch This September 2021

iPhone 13 release date predictions have been a guessing game ever since Apple's iPhone 12 finally went on sale.

As of the moment, it seems like it's still everybody's guess when the new iPhone 13 could be launching. However, there's an educated guess out there that points to a potential release date.

Apple iPhone Event Reveal

According to the story by CNet, they are expecting to see maybe four versions of the brand new phone, namely the iPhone 13, the iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the iPhone 13 Mini.

This information reportedly came from the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple leaker with a great track record of predicting Apple launches.

Apple's very first event of 2021 happened back in April, where they were able to see new iPads, some colorful iMacs, and even a purple iPhone 12 as well as AirTags trackers. The WWDC then came in June, where fans were able to see a glimpse of the newest iOS 15.

Apple iPhone 13 Event

There was reportedly no word from Apple at either event for the iPhone 13.

No one, however, was really expecting any word of the Apple iPhone 13 to come out early. The question is, when can users be able to expect Apple to unveil the next batch of the flagship phones?

As of the moment, Apple is still yet to hint at any official iPhone 13 event date. Based on Apple's history, however, the article by CNet makes a typical prediction as to when the company's own iPhone event is expected to happen.

Pandemic Delay on Apple Event

Although the pandemic changed the usual course for 2020, it marked the very first September Apple event to happen in eight years that did not include an iPhone due to production delays.

Kuo reportedly predicted that 2021 will see a return to the company's typical cadence.

A previous March 24 report that was based on the supply chain information also pointed towards a particular late September iPhone 13 release date. Another April report coming from DigiTimes even cited industry insiders who reportedly stated that production for the new phone chips could be ahead of schedule.

iPhone 13 Release Date

This should even put the phone release back to another familiar pre-pandemic timeline. Just a few years ago, CNet even took a deep dive into the whole Apple event timeline and emerged with a whole compelling Labor Day hypothesis.

Based on the official 2021 calendar, the Labor Day rule would potentially put the September Apple event on September 8, 2021 with an upcoming September 17, 2021 release date. This would be where the iPhone 13 is expected to be released.

However, this is not yet a confirmed launch date by Apple. Fans will have to wait for an official announcement in order to clarify September 2021 events, and take the news with a grain of salt.
